What is the cook up?

The Cook Up at Everett is an afterschool opportunity with local teaching artists from All of the Above Hip Hop Academy designed to:

• Help participants develop artistically in Beat Making, Rhyme Writing, Graffiti Art, Breaking or DJ'ing

• Socialize with students of similar interests

• Learn more about Hip Hop History/Culture

• Expand student's community and network

• Link students to resources that support academic, artistic, and personal goals

MEETS EVERY MONDAY

SPRING Start Date: Monday, April 15th, 2024

When: Every Monday through the remainder of the school year.

Time: 3 pm - 4:30 pm

Where: Everett Highschool, exact room TBD.

*Partnering with Lansing School District, The Lansing Promise, and AYO Griot Instructors
