The Jump Off: From Class to Stages and Beyond

As a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization centered around mentoring youth through Hip Hop, we have the unique opportunity of helping young people find their passion and voice through the various expressions of the culture.

In our B.A.R.S [Beats and Rhymes Sessions] program, students learn to make beats, write rhymes, and work collaboratively.

Beyond the classroom, participants have opportunities to perform at our events and share stages with the pros.

The Jump Off is a tournament-style Hip Hop producer competition that brings beatmakers from all over the region to compete for bragging rights, public recognition, and a $200 cash prize. This is the first year where our own students will be competing! We couldn't be more proud.

On June 27, 2021, the event will be streamed lived from the Urban Beat Lounge via Facebook Live and here on our website.

Audience members will vote for the winner by using their phones. The experience is engaging, entertaining, and in support of a great cause.

Whereas The Jump Off will be a free event, we are raising funds in support of our programming. You can expect a great time watching this year's event while supporting local talent and local youth.
