Register now for a week of AOTA Hip Hop’s Youth Day Camp in partnership with Lansing Parks & Rec.

In August 2021, Hip Hop Appreciation month became a state holiday.

One year after this important milestone, All of the Above Hip Hop Academy (AOTA) will be hosting its first annual AOTA Hip Hop week.

To kick-off the celebration, AOTA partnered with Lansing Parks and Recreation to offer a 5-day summer camp that explores the fundamental elements of hip hop culture.

Each day will focus on a different aspect of the culture. Campers will learn about the historical origins of the art form, receive instruction from experienced hip hop practitioners, and engage in healthy competition.

The camp will conclude with a park jam, which allows campers to share and explore all the things they’ve learned with their family and friends.
